Treatmeant Approach
Psychoanalytically oriented psychotherapy
Psychoanalytically oriented psychotherapy (POP) is a therapeutic approach derived from classical psychoanalysis, based on the concepts and treatment techniques originally introduced by Sigmund Freud.

This method focuses on exploring unconscious and unresolved inner conflicts, as well as underlying psychological dynamics and their processing.

Within the therapeutic relationship, deeply rooted fears and relational patterns, who are shaped by early life experiences become visible. Therefore, unconscious patterns can be brought into consciousness, understood in their dynamics and meaningfully addressed.

By addressing these repressed conflicts and their effects on present life, new psychological space is created, enabling personal growth, emotional well-being, and more fulfilling relationships with oneself and others.
Initial consultation
At the beginning of the psychotherapeutic process, one to three initial consultations take place. During these sessions, we gain an initial insight into your current situation, discuss your wishes and goals, and clarify organizational frameworks such as the frequency and cost of therapy.
Sessions
-
Each session lasts 50 minutes.
-
The frequency, one to two sessions per week, and total number of sessions depend on individual needs and the course of treatment.
-
If you are unable to attend a session, please give notice at least 48 hours in advance. Otherwise, late cancels will be charged.
Cost
Therapy costs are agreed during the initial consultation. Please note that reimbursement through public health insurance is currently not possible. However, therapy costs are eligible for tax deductions.
